The 2008 Coaches vs. Cancer Elmira Holiday Tournament was the 10th anniversary of both outstanding high school basketball and fundraising for the fight against cancer.  The tournament brought in over $60,000 in funds.  This was by far the most successful year-to-date. 

2008 Boys Tournament Champions were the Southside High School Green Hornets led by Coach Fesetch.  The Green Hornets defeated Newark High School 65-64 in overtime.



2008 Girl's Tournament Champions were the Horseheads High School Lady Blue Raiders.  The Raiders defeated the Waverly Wolverines 48-37.
